Hey, Crystal,
First of all, I'd like to apologize for the previous mail sent by mistake. As I'm not using my own computer right now (and having difficulty switching into Chinese mode), allow me replying your mail in English : )
One year after my graduation from Reading, I have been told that our previous MA program has been transformed from 'taught program' to 'program by research'. This means (I guess) that students will not receive classes from professors from then on; instead, they have to research for their own dissertation topics right after academic term begins, with professors providing suggestions only.
You mentioned that you're interested in programs associated with mass media or publishing; however, as far as I know, Children's Lit programs in UK are generally more prone to academic approach. I'm actually not very familiar with universities & programs in UK, and would like to ask your forgiveness for not being able to provide more useful suggestions. One possible choice for you might be South Roehampton. Maybe you could browse their website to see if the courses they provide fulfill your goals for further education.
Hope these might be of little aid to you. With best wishes for studies in UK in advance!
